Orang Asli

I managed to visit an Orang Asli (aborigine) village on my way back from Cameron Highlands. And what can I say, most of them were very shy, but very down-to-earth. It seems hard to live in the jungle for us, but maybe not so to them. Most of them have motorbikes at home nowadays, even the latest mobile phones! But how sad, not all of them have access to clean pipe water nor electricity...

This is the view from the main road, leading to their settlement.

They spend their evenings selling jungle produce and handicrafts at their little kiosks.

Just wondering, why do the kids love clinging to the kiosk pillar?
Generasi ni dah gayat kot? Hehehehe...
