Speechless...
This can be considered a repeat entry ,since En Arip has published about the incident at Old Town Cafe the other nite. But I just want to share the story in my blog too.Cashier: Your bill is RM20.02
I gave him RM50 and he asked me for 2 cents.
I told him I didn't have small change, and expected him to give me back RM30.
Cashier : U really dont have coins?
Me : No... (*korek2 poket jumpa 5 cents and gave it to him.)
Cashier : TQ , sorry sir we don't have change...
Me : What?
I looked at the cahsier, and gave him this expression.
He looked at me and gave me my receipt, with the RM30 balance. He then walked off and continued doing something in the kitchen...
I was so speechless...
I didn't know what to say! He tried so hard not to lose 2 cents from me, but he had no qualms in DENYING me my 3 cents change! Hello, that is sooooo rude!
I bukan kedekut, but his attitude was so *%&*%&#@@.
Lucky for him having to only deal with me... I'm a cool person, but if that guy does the same thing again next time, I'll make sure he eats bitch poop across the road!

If it were me , i would have stood there and demanded the balance $0.03,Beacuse it should just show him how pathetic he was + the same attidude that he deserves. I would have said PETRONAS pun tak kisah sen-2, Ni pulak nak over !!!

It revolves around Old Town coffee again. There's one which I (am forced to) go every week or so (because I hate my canteen food), and I personally don't really like their service. They are in a total, 100% mess when taking orders during peak hours, and my toast took 1 hour to make, in addition to having our orders screwed up. Off peak, the staff is unfriendly, and "somewhat" cold. Nonetheless, their French toast is superb.
If I were the cashier, I would just ignore the damned 0.02 cents. The cashier's just plain stiewwpid.

How annoying.. Tadi pun I went to this kopitiam in Low Yat.. When I didnt give him coins, he gave me change in all 1 cents coins. U may think they really dont have other denominations but no I saw the waiter giving the customer next table in 10 cents, and 5 cents. Bengang. I got like 15 pieces of 1 cents. :O
I encountered similar situation at a Supermarket counter in Indon last year. However, suprisingly I was given a permint(gula2) to compensate for the "loss" - its small thought like this that make customers like us feel appreciated.
