Terima Kasih, Thank You, Shea' Shea', Rumba Nandri
Why is it so difficult for some people to say “thank you”? Does it really take that much effort, or is it laziness or pure rudeness?Just this morning, after putting up with someone who finds it hard to say thanks, I finally exploded!
This morning’s KTM Komuter was delayed (again!) for 40 minutes. After boarding it, it was totally packed to the brim. I clutched onto the ceiling bar… When the train moved, I turned and saw a woman getting out of balance and almost fell, just because there just wasn’t any more room on the handrail.
Pitying her, I offered her my rail handle, since I was taller and could reach the actual rail without the handle. When I offered it to her, I smiled and asked if she would like to use it… Guess what was her reaction?
She just reached out for it, with an arrogant expression, without a thank you nor a smile! Such disgusting reaction!
It really got me very pissed!!!
Just after that, I said to her: “Excuse me, may I have that thing back?”
She gave me a confused glance, and let go of the handle… and I grabbed it, and with an equally arrogant tone, said “thank you” to her.
Thereon, I saw her swaying in every direction, as dictated by the train’s movements. Thankfully, she just kept bumping into people around her, and not landing on the floor…
Serves her right! In future, don’t scrooge on your thank you or courtesy smile!
I can be a very nice person… yet, I can also be a very super-duper cruel man if you start it with me!
*kalau ye pun malam tadi tak DAPAT, jgnlah bagi tahu satu dunia kan?

kasarnya bahasa awak....malam tadi tak dapat? men like to use that against women, eh..such a sexist remark.
by the way, isn't it sweeter to do good deeds Lillah hi Ta'ala? Because of Allah? If you expect gratitude from the deeds that you do, then where is the pahala?

wahdi, memang susah sangat kan orang nak cakap Thank You, kalau lalu ikut toll, berapa kerat sangat yang cakap terima kasih when you pay...
selalu kita yang bayar ni cakap terima kasih, padahal kita yg kasi duit.....

Yes, most things are WAJIB to be done with the niat (lilahi taala)…
But some people also deserve to be treated that way, just as a reminder that in future, they better respect others.
Don’t blame me, but with her refined looks, that Chinese lady made herself looked bad, and pissed me off! I am not a racist, but I hate to be treated like that. She better rethink about her manners, and stay away from thinking that the Malays are weak and can be easily trampled on!
Regarding the pahala, that’s between Allah and me. But whatever it is, in social norms, that kind of rude behavior is unacceptable. In fact, it must be curtailed before it gets common!
2 simple words jerk..bukan suruh buat karangan 2 perenggan kan? Tuh yg den pelik bila pelancong kata org2 M'sia nie peramah, sopan santun etc. while den rasa mereka2 kat sana better than us. Or org2 kita cuma peramah & sopan santun pada org luar jerk?
