We are indeed very proud of the 50th anniversary of our country's independence this year, but we are not 100% free from bondage...

For me, those who keep marine life and claim that they are pet lovers, are nothing but mere "colonialists" to the marine life. And in turn, this translates to putting shackles on the natural environment...

I used to keep a tank of the marine fishes prior to this, but the awareness came about after reading some reports issued by the various marine life preservation organizations. It has been widely reported that the extinction of marine life has reached devastating proportions due to a drastic increase in the demand for ornamental marine life...


As a Malaysian citizen who values independence and hates colonialism, I will not support any form of confinement of marine fish and corals in home aquariums.
